Cozy café in Schwabing, centrally located. Usual selection of hot drinks. Small snacks.

Great cafe, WiFi, delicious coffee and snacks to eat, invites you to linger, work and think. The ban on telephone calls at the tables is great and ensures a pleasantly low noise level. Unfortunately only cash payment (therefore 4/5). We will be back!

Service depending on the service unfriendly, too expensive, but good coffee. No card payment possible (even after Corona).

Delicious cappuccino to go. The lids, like sugar, etc., are kept in the customer area. I find that hygienically rather suboptimal even under normal conditions. Given the hygienic requirements of the corona pandemic, I think that is simply stupid. The waitress, when asked about it, said I didn't have to take any. ?

Good environment to work or chat, outside area in Summer is great, really nice service and very good coffee

Hot cholocate was too milky, coffee was good but nothing special, the cake was good.

Just ok coffee shop of a chain. The pastry choices are limited and medium quality, coffee quality is also just mediocre, cups quite small for the price. Location is nice though, cosy interior and exterior seating. Cash only...

There are several black coffee shops in Munich, but this one has a certain charm. There is more space inside than you might think from the outside. In the warm summer months you can sit outside, which has a pretty pleasant atmosphere near Pündterplatz.

Nice cafe with super nice waitresses. You can sit well outdoors. In the afternoon, when it is usually too hot, most places are also in the shade. There is also free Wi-Fi which works great. The coffee is great too. To eat there are small snacks, which are also very delicious: tl; dr: good cafe.

I like the Black Bean - and here is the best place, if you have to ...

Nice shop in the middle of Schwabing. Tasty coffee, croissants, cakes and other goodies. Cozy, trendy atmosphere. Also outside you are sitting pretty nice. Friendly staff.

ca. 2019: Edit after two years: a regular for about six months now; after a while, I gave the café a second chance and have been pleasantly surprised; very courteous, no negative experiences ca. 2017: Having bought two beverages for about 8 €, I was asked to leave after 2,5 hours to allow other customers to sit in the café. There were three empty tables when I left.

(black) coffee VERY good - finally a cafe which decent coffee can cook: P unfortunately a bit expensive, but at least good quality for it. It would be nice if other alternative milks would be offered (oats, coconut milk etc) Otherwise top!

Very popular meeting with excellent coffee and invitation to stay. Laptops and newspaper readers are welcome. Friendly staff and bright rooms. In the warm Jahrwszeit there is an outdoor area. The offer is complemented with salty snacks, cakes and muffins. Also good for studying and working.

Great service! The coffee is delicious and the café is more comfortable than the Black Bean at the university. The employee who cooked the coffee was very attentive and took great care of all the guests.

Great place, with great coffee and service!

It may well be argued whether 4.20 is justified for a large cappuccino - in my opinion they are not. The coffee actually tastes rather mediocre. However, I have nothing to complain about the price and therefore forgive 4 stars, especially for the nice staff and also nice decor.

Lattes are always too milky. Basically you always need an extra shot as you gonna deal with a lot of milk. Nice place otherwise.

lovely corner coffee shop, that has a good, cozy feeling to it. Nice place to work or read. I also love their cold coffee selection, the black bean special is a great cold coffee brew for a hot Munich afternoon:)

Nice little coffee place with great coffee. I would like to get my morning coffee here everyday but as I don't have always cash with me, it's not possible because it is cash only. It's 2017 guys!

Good coffee but slow service

First I'd like to state that I lived in 6 countries on 3 different continents and visited hundreds of coffee places, as I truly enjoy the atmosphere of a good coffee in a friendly setting. So the experience today came to me as a big shocker and I'd like to share with fellow coffee lovers. The place owner who was also serving coffee was extremely unpleasant and negative about everything. He seemed like one of those novel characters who hate their job, the life, the world. When he realized that I don't necessarily agree with his perception of things, he refused to serve me. I've never experienced such bad (and insulting) customer treatment and would highly recommend to skip this place as there are many other friendly coffee shops in town.
